La Cornue Luxury Stoves

So far 2018 has been a quiet year for me; I've been hibernating from these chilly winters, though it's not as bad as what our east coast inhabitants are experiencing - hope you're all staying safe and warm!

Lately I've been baking up a storm and trying new dishes as I wait for spring (and our little one) to arrive and since I've been following food rockstars like Ina Garten on social media, I see the occasional drool worthy kitchens featuring these luxury ranges by La Cornue.

Wedding season is months away, but every bride-to-be knows it's never too early to start planning those details whether her wedding is in six months or the summer of next year.  I love the idea of a garden wedding and these images found are nothing short of enchanting...Wishing the brides of 2018 all the happiness on their blissful, special, romantic day!

Afternoon Tea Table Settings

Unfortunately work, raising a toddler, and having a baby baking in my belly has left me so drained that I find myself crashing on the couch, in pjs by 7:30 p.m. on a work week.  I often feel guilty that I barely have the energy to play with my little girl who I never see during the day, let alone do the simple act of calling up friends to nurture friendships.  This year, I'm hoping to host more gatherings with family and friends (and up my energy back to pre-pregnancy days by walking more of these hilly San Francisco streets.)

After binge-watching The Crown and the film Marie Antoinette, I've been in such an afternoon tea kind of mood testing scone and sandwich recipes at home, that I'm looking forward to hosting a few this year.  These images I've found has gotten me excited to begin the planning process and possibly host one for my baby shower.

A dainty Wedgewood china tea set.  I received many hand-me-down Wedgewood plates and cups from my mother, who is a fan, so I am partial to the brand.

Can't get enough of Stripes

I am so obsessed with stripe shirts that when I was promoted at my job, I rewarded myself with a Saint James for J. Crew shirt.  As I unearthed the Breton shirt from the brown carton box, my husband exclaimed, "another stripe shirt?!"

I'm late to the game, but I just recently discovered La Ligne through my Instagram feed and of course the obsession continues with these coveted chunky sweaters and tops!
