Spring blooms

I went to the San Francisco Flower Mart not too long ago.  It's been drizzly, foggy, chilly, and gloomy lately that I needed a little something to brighten things around the house so my husband and I made a quick trip to SOMA and picked up a few bunches of lovely, vivid tulips.  I usually purchase peonies, which are my favorite in pale pink, but they were a bit expensive at this particular vendor and I didn't really have the time to shop around.

Of course I also headed to Union Square this weekend to check out Nordstrom's half-yearly sale and bought a black and white stripe dress by French Connection.  Unfortunately it's now sold out but this is a similar dress as well as the dress in the far right above by Mark D. Sikes.   I also bought a romper at Forever 21 for an upcoming summer trip to Hawaii.  With my growing baby bump I didn't want to invest too much in something that I would only get to wear for a short season.

Speaking of baby bumps I couldn't resist this adorable Jack and Janie shawl sweater that was on sale. I was also in love with a Ralph Lauren red cardigan but I had to restrain myself.

Burberry Sale

I had my eye on the  Burberry mid-length hooded trench for quite a while.  I'm not really into the traditional structured trench, I wanted something that was a little more casual for both work and the weekends and still keep me warm while keeping my head dry from the misty San Francisco fog.  As much as I wanted one, I wasn't quite ready to splurge on the trench despite the sale, but someone did me a favor by buying the last trench online, so thank you.  For some of you who lean more into the glamorous, I added some drool worthy picks from the sale...
