Bal Crillon des Debutantes in Paris

I just received an invitation in the mail to my cousin's cotillion this summer and started thinking about the famous Bal Crillon des Debutantes held in Paris every year.  Yes, it's an event that is a bit over the top, but I couldn't help conjuring up these images...

With two weddings I get to attend to this year, I couldn't believe it was only a year ago that I was in the planning stages of my own wedding and one of the minor yet frustrating things I didn't want to waste time dealing with were finding the perfect shoes.
